Paula Leverton- Proprietor, BHSIT and Head Senior Coach
Paula has just celebrated the 31st anniversary of running Fourwinds. Having successfully competed at Novice  and intermediate eventing, she now focuses on  dressage. She is still actively involved in teaching within the riding school, from beginner to advanced level.  Paula is responsible for the staff and student training, is a qualified assessor and verifier for NVQs.

Paula is also an active member of the BHS and ABRS, is an ABRS examiner and a Riding and Road Safety Examiner and trainer. She is on the Spalding and District Riding Club committee and helps to run the local shows.As well as the riding club Paula is the South Lincs BHS chairman and is on the executive committee of the ABRS..

  

Sarah Smith- Senior Instructor.                                                                                                                                Sarah has recently joined Four Winds, she started riding from the age of 4 and was a member of the Driffield Pony Club.  Through her teenage years early twenties she competed BSJA Nationally, Dressage, Team chased to intermediate level and also represented the East Yorkshire Riding Club. Sarah has studied at Bishop Burton College gaining her National Certificate Level 2, BHS Exams, Riding and Road Safety and ABRS Tests.

 

Karen Watson - Senior Instructor/NVQ level 3                                                                                                      Karen joined Fourwinds in August 2007. Having ridden and competed ponies when younger , she decided that a career in horses was for her. Since joining us she has completed her NVQ 2 & BHS 2 and is just completed her NVQ 3 and is training for her PTT.
Having now gained more experience working with horses she is now a valued member of the team and an experienced Junior Coach.

 

Alice Horton - Trainee Instructor, BHS and NVQ level 2                                                                                       Alice has ridden at Fourwinds for many years now and joined our team at the age of 16 in 2008. She has already completed her BHS stages 1 & 2  and NVQ level 2 and is studying for her BHS and NVQ level 3 and her PTT.
Alice is a very knowledgeable coach and is a valued member of our team who shows a interest in producing young horses.

 

 Sam Smeeth - Trainee Instructor

Sam is new to our team having taken a level 2 in horse care he is keen to work towards his BHS exams and teaching qualifications.


 

Lisa McConnell - BHSAI                                                                                                                                            Lisa has been working and riding at Four Winds as a freelance instructor. She has years of experience in riding, training and competing at British Eventing intermediate level.

 

Vanessa Fowler -  Instructor                                                                                                                                  Vanessa is our part-time instructor and is currently training for her ABRS coaching award. Vanessa owns her own horse called Sollie who is kept at Four Winds.

 

Chloe Pinfold - Trainee Instructor                                                                                                           Chloe was our part-time weekend employee and has also ridden at Four Winds for many years. Chloe has completed her NVQ level 1,2 and has just started full time at Four Winds to train for her BHS/NVQ  3
