Ring A-Show Jumping

Start 9.30 prompt

Class 1 Clear Round

Class 2 Starter Stakes

Fences max. 1’6” in the first round, combination never having won SJ.

Class 3 Pre-Novice

Fences max. 2’0” in the first round, combination never having won more than £50.

Class 4 Novice

Fences max. 2’3” in the first round

Class 5 Intermediate

Fences max. 2ft 6” in the first round

Class 6 Small Open

Fences max 2ft 9” in first round

Class 7 Open

Fences Max 3ft in first round              

 

Show Jumping

Entries: £5 per class, Hire of pony £1 per Class.

Rosettes to 6th place and trophy to the winner.

 

Ring B – Dressage

(Give It A Go)

Running 10.am. – 1pm

Class A1- Intro 1/Prelim 7

Class A2- Preliminary 10/Novice 20

Go as many times as you like, highest score counts.

Entries: £5 per go or £8 for two.

Rosettes to 8th, trophy to winner   

 

Gymkhana Games

Not before 1.30pm

 

Class C6- Lead Rein

Class C7- 10yrs and under

Class C8- 13yrs and under

Class C9- Open

Five Games per section, rosettes to 4th place .

Entries: £1.50  per game or £6 for all five.

 

Class C10- Roll out the Barrel

Rosettes to 6th place and trophy to the winner

Entries: £2.50 each.

 

Ring D- Clear round jumping all day.

£2 per round, rosettes to all clears. 

 

RULES

1. It is a condition of entry that each entrant shall agree to indemnify the organisers against any legal action arising from any accident, damage, loss, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators or any person or property whatsoever.

2. The schedule will run as printed unless exceptional circumstances prevail when any alteration will be at the sole discretion of the organisers. No entry fee will be refunded unless the class is cancelled.

3. The organisers reserve the right to amend or alter any classes with insufficient entries.

4. Correct dress is to be worn when competing. All riders must wear headgear to current safety standards at all times when mounted. Riding hats must be worn by all junior handlers (17 years and under). It is strongly recommended that body protectors are worn over or under riding jackets.

5. Riders competing on the lead rein may not competitively enter any other classes off the lead rein.

6. Whips and spurs are not permitted in gymkhana games.

7. Excessive use of whip or spurs will not be permitted and may result in expulsion from the showground.

8. The practice jump is to be jumped from one direction only and is only for the use of riders entering the jumping classes. It is not to exceed the height of jumps in the class in progress.

9. Any horse or pony considered unfit by the organisers may be asked to leave the showground.

10. Any objection must be made to the secretary within 15 minutes of the incident occurring. A deposit of £20.00 must be submitted which will be returned if the objection is sustained.

11. All vehicles parked at owner’s risk.

12. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.

13. The judges and organisers decisions are final. on all matters
